A Shopify POS feature that helps pop-up market vendors prep, sell, and recap
The Solution
Introducing... Event Mode
Event Mode is a connected experience across the Shopify app and Shopify POS that gives vendors a smart prep list the night before, a focused selling screen at the market, and a clear recap when they pack down.
Before the event
Custom checklist, dashboard, device pairing. No guesswork. No overpacking.
During the event
Tracks orders using large photo cards. Fast to tap and easy to read at a glance.
After the event
Generates her recap instantly. Top seller, total revenue, busiest hour, etc.
The Problem
Shopify solves the transaction.
It doesn’t solve the event.
Pop-up market vendors are one of Shopify's fastest growing merchant segments.
But the product assumes merchants have time, a laptop, and consistent inventory. For a vendor who sets up a folding table for four hours once a week, the real job isn't processing payments. It's knowing what to bring, what's running low, and whether this market was worth coming back to.
